SO, Westbury Homes has been given permission to knock down two houses and build 11 in New Street (Ledbury Reporter, March 7) and in return will make a "contribution" to the community. How big a contribution? Enough to buy 24 square yards of land? That would provide each of the children in the new houses with the equivalent of a telephone box to play in.
