PLEASE don't forget that nominations for the parish council election on May 1 have to be in by April 1. Anyone who is a registered elector of the parish, who has lived or worked in the parish for the last 12 months or who owns property in the parish is able to stand for election to the parish council.
If you feel you could contribute to village life by being a councillor, please consider standing for election. There has not been a contested parish election for many years, and the current council is keen to encourage parishioners to become involved, believing that such an election would be healthy for local democracy.
Anyone who would like further details or nomination form should contact the parish clerk on (01531) 632954 or Mr S Oram at Herefordshire Council.
Don't miss the orchestral charity concert at 7.30pm on Saturday!
