DAREDEVILS with a head for heights are being called upon to abseil down Bewdley's Blackstone Rock to raise much-needed funds for the RSPCA.
The event is planned for Sunday, May 11 and companies and individuals are invited to take part and persuade their colleagues to take the challenge to raise extra sponsorship.
The Kidderminster and Stourbridge branches of the animal charity are hoping to raise about £10,000 to cope with the demand for the many unwanted and abandoned animals which they will have to care for during the summer months.
