DANIEL Yeomans won the U19 Male title at Bromsgrove District Sports Council's annual awards.
Continuing our round-up of winners, Daniel received his trophy and certificate in recognition of his achievements in down hill bike racing.
Yeomans, once a member of North Bromsgrove High School's successful basketball team, took up his sport two years ago and has since won a competition in Wales.
Bikes cost up to £1,000 and Daniel rides them individually or in groups over bumpy terrain in races that can attract up to 50 competitors.
Last summer he was third in the Coalition cup but his ambition is to make the British Cycling Four Cross Championships this year after gaining second place in the UK.
