COOKHILL Keyboard Club meets on the first Wednesday of each month at Cookhill Village Hall.
Approximate times for most meetings are 7.30-10.15 pm.
The club is a forum for anyone interested in keyboard music, whether as a player or a listener.
During each meeting there is an opportunity for members to play, whether they are advanced and confident or beginners and more diffident.
There are lessons for first-time learners and the musical directorate organises practice for improvers, intermediate and advanced ensembles.
At each meeting, time is reserved for individuals to entertain and, during the last half hour, a concert provides a fitting climax to an excellent social and musical evening.
New members, aged eight to 98, are always welcome.
There will be a concert by John Hodgetts, from the Yamaha Music School, at our the meeting today.
For more details, call Karen Poole on 542174 or Mervyn John on 852534.
