THE reason for a car crash which killed a 20-year-old Oakenshaw man will remain a mystery, according to the Warwickshire coroner at an inquest on Monday.
Darren James O'Connor, who lived with his parents in Ladbrook Close, was returning from his girlfriend's Henley-in-Arden home on the A4189 at about 10.45pm on June 9 last year.
At Outhill, a mile east of Mappleborough Green, his MG ZR car left the road and hit a tree.
Warwickshire coroner Michael Coker said: "There is no evidence that there was anything wrong with the deceased - unfortunately I'm unable to offer an explanation."
Mr O'Connor, who worked for Rover at Longbridge, had a full driving licence since he was 17 and had taken various driving courses and tests at his work.
There was no evidence of alcohol in Mr O'Connor's system, the inquest heard.
Mr Coker recorded a verdict of accidental death at the inquest in Leamington.
