PHIL Carbutt put recent injury problems behind him to finish second for Bromsgrove and Redditch Athletics Club at the Stourbridge Stagger last weekend.
Carbutt completed the gruelling ten-mile multi-terrain event in 62 minutes 47 seconds, giving him seconds place overall and first in the over 50 category.
Ian Keyte was eighth in 67mins 52secs, claiming first over 40 with Chris Taylor coming 10th with 68mins 40secs.
Roger Beacham won the over 60s in 83mins 53secs while Peter Hawcroft finished 44th in 77mins 34secs followed by Steve James in 65th with 81mins 19secs.
