DEAR EDITOR - How sad I was to read the letter from Dr Cath Elliott regarding her "good deed" being abused.
We are constantly seeing her letters of thanks to people who have helped her raise money for good causes which makes the unkind act an even more sad one!
Dr Elliott is someone I have great admiration for as she not only was my doctor for many years but also delivered my daughter at home.
She was also a great help to me at a time when I really needed help and support. Such help is available quite readily today but not in the 1960's.
