WAYNE Davies scored a hat-trick as Fairfield Villa dismantled Kenilworth Town 7-0 in their one-sided Midland Football Combination division one encounter.
Villa were put under early pressure but took the lead against the run of play after 15 minutes when a Steve Tranter cross was headed past goalkeeper Chris Bloore by Ian Brown.
Five minutes later Villa increased their lead when a through ball by Neill Tinkler sent Wayne Davies clear and he slotted the ball home from an acute angle.
Davies' cross was headed home by Richard Whitlock on 32 minutes for 3-0 and Villa's fourth was scored by defender Phil Upton from close range.
Five minutes into the second half Villa scored their fifth, again with a cross, this time headed past goalkeeper Bloore by Ray Peters.
It was now one-way traffic and the sixth goal came on 76 minutes when Peters was tripped in the area and Davies despatched the resulting spot kick.
Villa completed the scoring 60 seconds later when Davies got his third.
