REDDITCH Co-operative Homes has been given planning permission for six bungalows in Ashtree Road, Batchley.
The Co-operative will start building on the site of an old garage in the summer and work is expected to last six months.
Project manager Carl Taylor said the site had been run down and vandalised for some time so its redevelopment would enhance the area.
Five of the bungalows will have two bedrooms and one will have three.
