CALLS have gone out for the morning after pill to be available free of charge to all Redditch women, not just teenagers.
Redditch Councillor Betty Passingham, who also sits on the Redditch and Bromsgrove joint health consultative committee, said it was time the Primary Care Trust rethought its position.
The trust controls the distribution of the pill and it is currently available on prescription to girls under 19 at specific chemists across town.
But a Redditch and Bromsgrove PCT spokesman said it was following Government guidelines.
