TENBURY Town Band has bought a piccolo as a lasting memorial to the late Thomas Matthews, former town mayor and a staunch supporter and fundraiser for the band. The piccolo case has been inscribed to his memory. This year the band is celebrating its 20th anniversary and throughout February an exhibition of the band's history and tours abroad will be displayed in the upper room at Tenbury library.
