THE next meeting of the Birmingham and District Group of the Alpine Garden Society will be held on Friday at The Medical Institute, Highfield Road, Birmingham.
We are delighted to be returning to a venue which had been used by the group for many years.
Members should note that our meetings will now be on the second Friday of each month and not the third as had previously been the case. To mark our return to the institute, group secretary Dr John Page and past chairman Tony Brake will give a talk on the group's tour of Irish gardens last summer.
It promises to be a memorable evening. Doors open for plant and book sales at 6.45p.m., with the lecture commencing at 7.30p.m.
For further details of this event or any other of the group's activities, contact Dr John Page on 01564 702765. New members are always welcome.
