Rod Brown is set to talk to Stourport Swifts hitman Lee Booth tonight and is hoping to team him up with Paul Danks on Boxing Day.
"We are very hopeful of getting Lee," he said.
"If he comes in it will be a terrific signing for us and will take some of the goalscoring burden off Paul."
Brown will speak to Andy Hodgetts on Sunday but has hit a snag over his approach for RC Warwick full back Dave Jackson.
