UTILITY player Matty Southwick has jumped ship to arch rivals Bromsgrove Rovers.
Manager Rod Brown initially signed all of last season's squad for pre-season but Southwick, who followed Brown from Stourport last season, has linked up with former United number two Gary Hackett at newly-promoted Rovers.
The 22-year-old was a regular fixture in the Reds midfield but failed to recapture the form which saw him help Swifts acclimatise in their first Dr Martens Western season.
He completed his transfer to the Victoria Ground club on Sunday.
