A FORMER security guard at a firm of car dealers has admitted being part of a gang that plotted to steal £30,000 worth of new cars.
Richard Fox, aged 26, helped to steal two Volkswagen Golfs from the main Volkswagen dealers in Cheltenham, C D Bramall, in September last year.
Fox, of Penhill Crescent, Dines Green, Worcester, admitted conspiring with others to steal the cars at Gloucester Crown Court yesterday.
He was granted bail to a date to be fixed for pre-sentence reports.
"The fact that I am granting you bail is no indication of the sentence I will impose when the time comes," said Judge Lester Boothman.
