On the half hour a Coleman long ball caught out the Wrexham defence and let in Henriksen who failed to get a good connection on his attempted chip, prodding it into the hands of the keeper.

Wrexham finally woke up when they hit the post on 34 minutes through Barrett's 15-yard effort after a strong run from Carlos Edwards.

They nearly split the Harriers defence on 35 minutes with Ferguson's through pass letting in Morrell whose finish as too close to keeper Brock.

Harriers hit back and Bishop put the ball in the net on 37 minutes but was ruled offside.

Soon after a good corner from Shilton was nodded just wide by Parrish.

And Parrish found the net on 44 minutes with a crisp 25-yard volley after a half-clearance from the home defence.
