Cold weather is being blamed for a low turnout of protesters outside Sequani, in Ledbury, on Animal Rights Day (Tuesday, December 10).
However campaigners, who call themselves "Stop Quintiles Animal Testing" using the former name for the Sequani site, say they will continue their weekly peaceful protests outside the complex.
SQAT spokesman Helen Turner, of British Camp, said: "It was freezing cold and we had about nine or ten protesters there, which wasn't such a good turnout as we'd hoped for. But some had come from as far afield as Shropshire, which was encouraging.
"We tend to protest outside Sequani at least once a week. We're there to promote a debate."
