THE FA basic treatment of injury course is to begin on Friday, January 17 at Kidderminster Harriers FC, Aggborough Stadium.
The course will run for seven weeks in total and is at 6.30-9.30pm, cost is £60, which includes a comprehensive study book. The course tutors are Jim Conway (physio to Harriers and England) and Nick Griffiths (KHFC community officer).
The course is the first stage in becoming a FA sports therapist and is designed to improve medical care for players at all levels and teaches how to deal, treat and manage common sports injuries.
A certificate is awarded on completion of the course, which is aimed at trainers, managers, coaches and sponge men. All applicants must be over 17 years.
