ORGANISERS of an appeal to build a new children's hospice for Worcestershire are celebrating the best fundraising month so far.
During November, the Acorns Three Counties Appeal grew by a further £102,000.
Fundraising co-ordinator Fran Winterbourn said the £4m appeal now stands at £1.92m.
"The response to our appeal to build the new hospice, which will help over 150 life-limited youngsters, has just been amazing and this is just the kind of boost we need," she said. "People are rallying to our call to join in with the fundraising and help us reach the halfway mark of £2m by Christmas.
"This would be such good news for all our supporters and the many families who so desperately need the help and support of the new hospice."
