AN emphatic win for Keyz RM in this Worcester Sunday Division Three basement battle.
KEYZ RM 7, DROITWICH SPA RES 1
Keyz had the boost of an early lead when Ching's shot was saved by the keeper and Arnold was brought down chasing the rebound. Skipper Halford converted the penalty. Shortly afterwards Barnett's cross was headed home for a second goal.
Droitwich fought back and keeper Slater made two fine saves and a last ditch tackle from Ching saved a certain goal. Shortly after Simon Barnett finished well for the third.
The visitors attacked strongly for the start of the second half and should have reduced the arrears but RM held on and after a quick break Barnett scored his second. Play was even for a while until a good move set up Lowen who added the fifth.
Keyz then took control and sub Matt Waterhouse finished well for the sixth. With time running out Barnett set up Adam Soley for number seven to round off a convincing win.
