DRINKERS in Upton and Hanley Castle will be treated to an 800-year-old play symbolising the end of the old year and the beginning of the new.

The Silurian Border Morrismen will perform at the Three Kings, in Hanley Castle, at 8.30pm tomorrow (Saturday), before moving on to Upton at 9pm. They will spend 30 minutes each at The Anchor, The Swan and The Plough, finishing at the King's Head at 10.30pm.There will be a collection for Noah's Ark, the children's charity.
