The parish council reports the Highway Agency intend applying a low noise surface to the M50 this fiscal year and they will be erecting sound barriers next year. Also, in an attempt to reduce the growing fly tipping problem at Dyke House lay-by, the Highway Authority is considering stopping up the eastern end of the lay-by to also improve safety on the western side.
Yesterday (Thursday) the school children were due to be going to Bromsberrow St Mary's Church for the Christingle service.
Church services at St Mary's leading up to Christmas will include the carol service on Sunday, Midnight Holy Communion on Tuesday and on Christmas Day there will be Communion at 10am. On the Sunday after Christmas, December 29 there will be a United Benefice Communion at Upleadon Church with the Bishop of Gloucester.
Congratulations to the year six pupil at Bromesberrow St Mary's Primary School who raised over £70 for Children in Need by cycling from Ledbury to Bromesberrow.
