INCONSIDERATE motorists in Wyre Forest who park across more than one space will face fines in a radical shake-up of council-run car parks.
Under the reforms, due to come into force next April, drivers who consistently fail to pay outstanding fines will be clamped.
The district council reviews its charges and regulations every two years, but the current overhaul goes beyond any similar programme of changes, according to a report of the council's executive committee.
A detailed report will be put forward early next year but changes proposed also include the introduction of multi-functional penalty tickets and suspension of charges when Bewdley floods.
