CHILDREN were lucky enough to get early presents when Father Christmas dropped by at Salford Priors Primary School.
Santa turned up on his horse-drawn sleigh at the village school and sat in his grotto while children told him what they wanted for Christmas this year.
As well as Santa, there were games and competitions at the Christmas Fair organised by the school's PTA. Some of the games had been devised by pupils.
Head teacher Pat Daly said this year's fair had raised a record total of £899 for school funds. "I would like to thank the staff and children and all who organised and supported the Christmas fair," she added.
