THE home shoot at Throck-morton Clay Pigeon Club was a cold and damp affair.
However, this didn't discourage the members turning out in healthy numbers.
Excellent scores were returned despite the miserable conditions, with Dave Crowley and Brian Smith both recording maximum scores on the Skeet layout.
Club stalwart John Ford led the way on the DTL layout with junior member Simon Brown coming second, while Jim Ford recorded the highest score on the Compact Sporting layout.
Scores- Skeet: D Crowley 25/25; B Smith 25/25; John Arnold 23/25; Stuart Emms 23 /25. DTL: John Ford 68/75; Simon Brown 64/ 75; D Crowley 63/75; Paul Muzka 63/75. Compact Sporting: Jim Ford 24/25; S Emms 23/25; John Tarplee 22/25; Pete Sherwood 22/25.
