A DRUMMER from Kidderminster who toured Europe with Led Zeppelin legend Robert Plant can be heard live on national radio tonight.
Andy Edwards has linked up with Stourbridge-based blues prodigy Ian Parker for his new project The Ian Parker Band, who will be in action on The Paul Jones Blues Show - described by Ian as "the nation's premier blues programme" - live on BBC Radio 2 at 8pm.
Former Kidderminster College lecturer Andy was the drummer for Plant's acclaimed band Priory of Brion, performing at the likes of Glastonbury and the Nice Jazz Festival alongside luminaries such as BB King and Van Morrison.
At the start of this year the 34-year-old was voted one of the UK's 10 best drum clinicians by readers of Rhythm Magazine.
Tonight's show will feature an interview with Ian, while the band will perform three songs.
