A 15-YEAR-OLD Kidder-minster girl who sparked a police appeal when she went missing had been staying with friends.

Samantha Simms left her Upton Road home at 8pm on Tuesday, December 10 and disappeared after briefly visiting a friend in Broad Street.

But she turned up safe and well last Thursday afternoon.

Kidderminster Police spokeswoman Caroline Schubert said she had been staying with friends elsewhere in the town who brought her to the station following publicity about her disappearance.

"They brought her in as soon as they realised her family were worried," she added.
