FATHER Christmas will be travelling differently on Boxing Day - this time he will be using a vintage tractor.

More than 50 tinsel-covered tractors carrying Santa, his elves and other characters will be parading around Bewdley and the Wyre Forest as part of Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club's tractor run.

The event, which is in aid of the County Air Ambulance, will start at the Wyre Forest Visitor Centre, Callow Hill, at 10.30am. Bridgnorth Vintage Machinery Club member Tom McCubbin as Santa shows off a tinsel-covered vintage tractor.

Club secretary David Spruce, 35, said: "It's all a bit of a laugh. We did it first time last year and everybody enjoyed it, so we thought we'd do another one this year.

"It should be a good day out. There are people coming from as far as Wales and those who come to see us can have mince pies and a drink with us - and while we're doing that, we will have a collection for Air Ambulance.
