NAZI persecution victims will not be forgotten thanks to a new group.
The Wyre Forest Holocaust Memorial Day Committee has been formed to organise and promote an annual national commemorative day in the district on January 27.
Chairman, district and county councillor, Mike Oborski said: "It is important that the victims of the Holocaust are remembered and that we learn from the horrors of those years so that it never happens again."
Churches in the area, Worcestershire County Council and Wyre Forest District Council are among supporters of the group.
Anyone interested in the committee's work can call Mr Oborski on 01562 823911 or log on to its website at http: //members.lycos.co.uk/wfholocaust.
