ANOTHER course is being staged by the Worcestershire Football Association to help overcome the shortage of referees in the county.
The course is designed for anyone wanting to take up the whistle, whether they have serious ambition to get to the top, or just want to enjoy being a part of the action.
The course starts on Tuesday, January 7 at Evesham Working Men's Club, Merstow Green, and will be held on seven consecutive Tuesdays.
There will be a multi-choice answer exam after three weeks, and the following four weeks will include refereeing three games under supervision and a further examination, after which successful candidates will then qualify as referees.
Anyone interested, male or female, should be aged over 14 and have good eyesight! For more details call the Worcestershire FA on 01905-827137 (day) or Bill Allsopp on 01299-826654 (evening).
