EXTRA police will be on patrol across Wyre Forest tomorrow for one of the busiest days of the year as many workplaces shut down for Christmas.
Insp Alan Baldwin, of Kidderminster Police, said the operation would include extra mobile and foot patrols from noon in town centres at Kidderminster, Stourport and Bewdley and estates in Kidderminster.
Police have also been working with district licensees to lessen the chances of trouble breaking out. Patrols will be stepped up again on Monday, which is also expected to be busy.
Mr Baldwin said: "We're asking people to enjoy themselves and have a good time but remember to behave responsibly."
