SAILING: Trimpley Sailing Club's Ray Drury was one of only two dinghies to set sail due to the cold weather.
Drury has been sailing alone for several weeks in his GP14 and is well ahead in the present series.
The following day, Eddy Hillman was the only laser sailor to brave the weather.
In the GP14 single-handed class, Roger Stretton beat Norman Quarry easily.
In the first GP14 main series race, Tom and Simon Fletcher defeated the Tromans.
Phil Quarry and crew Sarah Allen comfortably won the second and third.
