A woman formerly from Worcester is to be sentenced in the New Year for wounding another woman.
At yesterday's hearing at Hereford Crown Court, Joanne Dempster, aged 24, now of Kirby Avenue, Warwick, admitted unlawful and malicious wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm to Laura Mitchell, from Droitwich, on Wednesday, January 16.
The case was adjourned for pre-sentence reports, to include details of the defendant's "depressed" state at the time of the attack.
Dempster, formerly of Lansdowne Rise, Worcester, was granted conditional bail to appear at Worcester or Hereford Crown Court in the week beginning Monday, January 20.
