BARNARDS Green Cricket Club recently held its presentation evening at the RSRE club in Malvern.
After an excellent meal, Andy Lamb thanked all of the clubs sponsors, without whom the section could not continue to promote local cricket in particular in relation to the colts, who are shaping up well for the future of the club.
He then took a whimsical look at the past 12 months within the club and cricket chairman Bob Rogers presented the following awards:
Saturday Firsts: Batting Kevin Golder; Bowling Tim Williams; POY Graeme Glendinning. Seconds: Batting James Curtis; Bowling Mat Brookes; POY John Sherliker. Thirds: Batting Bob Rogers; Bowling Simon Clarke; POY Nick Rogers.
Sunday 1sts: Batting Richard Williams; Bowling Chris Hill; POY Tim Williams. Seconds: Batting Tim Price; Bowling Justin McMillan; POY Marek Wajzer.
Evening League POY Tim Clarke. Young Player of the Year Lee Hooper. Most improved young player Duncan Bell. Clubmen of the Year Dave & Lin Price.
Players are reminded that the AGM will be held this Sunday at the club at 7.45pm. New members welcome.
