STUDENTS at The Chase in Malvern and John Masefield High in Ledbury are demonstrating their dramatic prowess.

The Malvern school will be recreating Stella Gibbons' classic novel Cold Comfort Farm on stage next week.

Rehearsals have been taking place since the end of September and the production will run at the school from Thursday to Saturday, November 28 to 30. Tickets are £5 for adults and £3 for children, available from the school reception on 01684 891961.

In Ledbury, students have just staged the comedy musical The Little Shop of Horrors.

Head of dance and drama Cassie Day said the musical, which featured many of the school's Enigma Dance Company, had been a fantastic success last week.

The show ran from Wednesday to Saturday and had full houses, with 500 people seeing the show on the last two days alone.

On Wednesday, December 11, the 45 members of Enigma will perform a show at the school with the professional Raw Dance Company. Tickets are on sale from Monday, December from the school.
