HIGH-riding Kidderminster Harriers plan to have midfielder Sean Parrish back in action for tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against Oxford United at Aggborough (3pm).

He missed Tuesday night's 2-2 draw at Torquay United to give him maximum time to recover from a groin strain.

Fifth-placed Harriers, however, will be without midfielder Sean Flynn and defender Scott Stamps.

Both are ruled out because of a one-match suspension after they were dismissed in the recent home defeat against Carlisle, although Stamps would not have played anyway because of a groin tear which could sideline him for up to a month.

Kidderminster boss Ian Britton, who has yet to finalise his line-up, expects a tough encounter against mid-table Oxford who have won their last couple of games against Dover in the FA Cup and Rochdale in the league.

The victories ended their disappointing run of six matches without a win.

Britton said: "All the games are tough. Now we are around the top everyone wants to beat us. But it's still what we do that matters.

"The players' great commitment and desire is being reflected in our results.

"I cannot put my finger on why we are doing better away from home. All we can do is keep having a go and doing the right things."

Talented striker Andy Bishop is set to make his home debut after moving to Aggborough earlier this week on a month's loan spell from First Division Walsall.

He marked his arrival by notching Harriers equaliser in their Torquay deadlock.

Britton, meanwhile, is urging his players to start firing on all cylinders straight from the kick-off tomorrow.

In recent weeks they have made slow starts against Carlisle, Swindon and Rushden & Diamonds and on Tuesday found themselves 2-0 down at half-time at Torquay.

Britton, whose side could go into third place tomorrow if they win, said: "We must remember that if we are going to get anything out of games we have to play for a lot longer than 45 minutes."

Harriers front-runner Drewe Broughton, who has recently been finding the target after a lengthy lean spell, said: "It's so frustrating for the players and the management that we have to be so Jekyll and Hyde.

"We talk about it and we've had meetings about how important it is to start as we're finishing games. I think we'll get to the bottom of it at some stage."

FORMCAST: Harriers to clinch a hard-earned 1-0 victory.
