I FULLY support Maria Edmands in her concerns over the proposed mixed sex or village changing arrangements for the Worcester swimming pool.
The fathers to whom I have spoken to are all alarmed at the thoughts of their wives and young daughters being expected to use mixed sex changing areas.
You only have to recall the loss of dignity and outrage that followed the introduction of mixed sex hospital wards to see this experiment being at best unwise.
For the parents who take their boys and girls swimming, a family area for children up to the age of perhaps 10 could be provided.
