CHASE Sixth Form student Faye Cadman and Sarah Jenkins, who both train at the Worcester Olympic Gymnastics Club ('98) at University College, Worcester will be competing in the British Ladies Challenge Cup at Rushmore Gymnastics Academy this Sunday (November 24).

This will be the second national competition for both gymnasts this year as they qualified for the West Midlands Region FIG voluntary one team in March. The team went on to take second place in the national Development Plan Grades finals at Kettering in April giving Faye and Sarah their first medals from a national competition and this Sunday they hope they can bring more national success for the club and themselves.

Both Faye and Sarah, a student at Cardiff University, have been heavily involved in competitions since September, seeing success at both regional and county levels.

Sarah took the RIG County title at the County Championships held in October at University College, Worcester. She shared the bars title with Faye and came first on vault and floor. Faye came second on vault and third on floor.

Both gymnasts have been members of the City of Worcester FIG team in the regional team competitions taking third place in the regional team championships held in November and second place in the regional team apparatus competition held in October.
