BEETHOVEN'S Fifth Symphony will be played by the English Symphony Orchestra at its Austro-German Romanticism concert in the Forum at Malvern Theatres at 7.30pm on Friday, November 29.
The orchestra's guest soloist will be John Anderson, playing Richard Strauss's Oboe Concerto. The conductor will be William Boughton.
Schubert's Symphony No 8 in B Minor "Unfinished" is also on the programme.
The concert will be preceded by a talk at 6.45pm, when David Gaukroger will discuss "Thoughts on Beethoven's Fifth".
