JOINT manager Gary Hackett has promised that table-topping Bromsgrove Rovers will not suffer a cup hangover when they entertain Rocester in the Dr Martens League Western Division tomorrow (3pm).

Rovers suffered a jolt on Tuesday night on when they crashed out of the Birmingham Senior Cup by losing 3-0 at home to higher graded Moor Green.

"There will definitely be no hang-over from that," said Hackett. "You don't want to be beaten by anybody, but if someone put a gun to my head and said who would you rather beat, Moor Green or Rocester, I'd have to say Rocester."

Hackett is expecting an awkward test against tomorrow's visitors who are currently in the lower reaches of the table.

He said: "They are a very competitive side and don't get beaten very easily. It will be a tough game for us. They pick up some very good results and if you beat them you have to work hard for the points."

Hackett was delighted with the side's performance last Saturday when they won impressively 3-0 at Taunton.

He said: "We were expecting a tough game but right from the first whistle we were well in control. We were worthy of it and 3-0 didn't flatter us. It sets us up nicely for tomorrow."

Rovers' only casualties are long-term victims Jon Ford and Grant Beckett.
