WITH an already depleted side, made worse by non-arrivals, Keyz RM's hopes for success in this season's Bernard Finnegan Cup were not high.
KEYZ RM 1, VIRGIN SPORTS 4
The home side fought bravely for 60 minutes then two own goals in the space of five minutes swung the game firmly Virgin's way.
To their credit RM refused to give up and Rob Barnett's low drive brought them right back into the game until two late strikes settled matters to give Virgin a flattering win and give an unfair reflection of the match.
Full marks to RM for their efforts especially Ching and Rob Barnett.
This Sunday Keyz RM are away at Chaddesley Corbett in the WFA Sunday Minor Cup third round. No details as yet, meet RSRE 9am.
As always thanks to Anne and Reg or their hospitality.
