LEDBURY people could have a chance to see their screenplay ideas transformed into a film.
Rural Writes is a new project from the Rural Media Com-pany, offering people the chance to learn how to write screenplays and pitch stories.
Organisers are looking at setting up a group in Ledbury, as well as in Peterchurch and Kingston.
Co-ordinator James Clarke, said: "A key element is to bring in professional screenwriters, with credits including Holly-oaks, Casualty, Between the Lines and Soldier Soldier, to work with local people to develop and sharpen their ideas."
The three groups will then pitch their ideas competitively to a panel of TV and film directors in February and the winning script will be made into a film in March.
Anyone interested in joining the Ledbury group can contact Liz Rouse on 01432 344039 or info@ruralmedia.co.uk.
