WORCESTER people are being asked to have their say by the Environment Agency on a proposed strategy for managing the River Severn.
The Severn Corridor Catchment Abstraction Management Strategy consultation document has just been issued.
It is part of a formal consultation on the way the agency proposes to manage water resources for the next six years.
The consultation makes proposals on how water should be managed and invites local people and organisations to comment on key issues such as the proposed licensing policy for the River Severn.
The strategy is reviewed every six years.
Comments and suggestions are welcome and should be made in writing by Friday, January 10, 2003 to Kate Hurst, Environment Agency, Hafren House, Welshpool Road, Shrewsbury, SY3 8BB.
