MALVERN Town U18s produced a superb performance in last Thursday night's FA Youth Cup second qualifying round tie when they defeated Leicestershire-based, Midland Youth League Premier Division outfit Quorn.
Town's 2-1 success was achieved via first half goals from Dale Humphries and Jamie Thomas.
The home side pulled a goal back in the final minute, but it was Town who took the honours, to record only their second victory in this the most prestigious of competitions.
Town's victory completed a superb week for the Malvern youngsters, who had already annihilated Bromyard 12-0 in a league fixture on Monday.
