MALVERN Juniors B went to the top of the Whatley Recordon Malvern Table Tennis League Division Three with their win over Nomads.

Matthew Lang played extremely well to win all his singles and the doubles with Anthony Wiseman and Tom James won two singles. Kevin Howard was the Nomads' best player, winning two, and Geoff Davies and Adrian Fray won one.

Manor Park Juniors are moving closer to the top teams with their first ever four point win over Maulers. Four of the sets went to five games and the Juniors won them all. Ray Davies had one victory to save a whitewash but Jack Higgs and Ben Salisbury with three each and Mark Griffiths two and the doubles with Jack were the triumphant trio on the night.

Crackpots C were more than pleased to get a point from their match with Logics, who are proving to be a hard team to beat. John Hunt took three, Derek Craddock two and Roger Wooderson one singles and John and Derek took the doubles to keep their 100 per cent doubles record, the only unbeaten record in the division. Richard Cullis won two and Stan Gin one for Crackpots.

Maulers had their first four points win against the Junior C team. Jamie Egerton managed a single win for the Juniors C but Paul Lythgoe and Bill Smith both won three and Mick Halford two singles and Mick and Paul the doubles for Maulers.
