KIDDERMINSTER Harriers front-runner Bo Henriksen faces a race against the clock to be fit in time to play in tomorrow's Nationwide League Division Three clash against lowly Carlisle United at Aggborough (3pm).

The Dane is suffering from a thigh injury he picked up in training and has been having intensive treatment.

He would not have played in last Saturday's match at Torquay United which was called off half an hour before the kick-off because of a waterlogged pitch.

Former Hereford United campaigner Ian Foster was due to have taken Henriksen's place at Plainmoor and is on standby to face The Cumbrians tomorrow.

With such a hectic programme of five matches in 14 days coming up Harriers are unlikely to risk six-goal Henriksen unless he is 100 per cent fit.

His possible absence would give Foster the opportunity to step up his claim for a regular spot in the starting line-up after appearing nine times on the substitutes' bench so far this term.

Kidderminster go into the match fourth in the table, six points adrift of leaders Hartlepool United with a game in hand.

In the past, however, Harriers have found Carlisle a tough nut to crack with just one victory over them in six meetings. Harriers' only win against them was a 2-1 success after extra time in an LDV Vans Trophy encounter.

Aggborough boss Ian Britton, however, is confident his side can overcome Carlisle who are struggling in second-from-bottom place in the table, three points better off than Swansea City.

Britton said: "Carlisle may be a bogey team for Harriers but not for me. We will see at quarter to five tomorrow.

"They have had a slow start and brought in three or four loan signings but are starting to get better and will come here full of confidence on the back of a win last Saturday."

With last Saturday's game at Torquay being called off Harriers have had extra time to clear up one or two niggling injuries, but Britton says: "We really want to keep playing games all the time as we're on such a good run.

"We have some nice big games coming up over November and fortunately a lot of them are at home. If we can produce the performances of the last few weeks then we stand a chance of getting three points from Carlisle."

Carlisle have confirmed loan signings John Sutton, Craig Farrell and Leon Osman will stay with them until Christmas.

The trio have impressed manager Roddy Collins who has successfully negotiated new deals with their respective clubs, Tottenham, Leeds and Everton.

FORMCAST: Harriers to win 2-0.
