LATER this month plans will be unveiled for the development of the Ministry of Defence-owned North Site.
This will be the largest and most significant development in Malvern for years and is seen by many as the best chance of securing much-needed land to enable expanding firms from Malvern Hills Science Park and spin-off businesses from QinetiQ to stay in the district.
At the same time, it could also help to address issues of housing need, and particularly that of affordable homes for local people.
Ultimately, the final decision will rest with district councillors but everyone can have an influence by taking part in the exhibitions planned at North Site and making your feelings known.
This is an important moment for Malvern - let's get it right.
We back Hanley Castle businessman Alan Kay in urging people to submit compensation claims against Aquila following the recent storms.
Aquila is probably right to say people would not want to pay higher electric bills in order to have more engineers available in a crisis.
The reason the company ought to pay compensation is because by not giving out accurate information its customers suffered losses they might otherwise have avoided.
