AN impressive win for RM against joint Worcester Division two leaders and previously unbeaten Pillar of Salt, Droitwich.

KEYZ RM 5, PILLAR OF SALT 2

Right from the off Pillar contested every decision but RM were in determined mood and refused to be intimidated taking the lead after five minutes through birthday boy Simon Barnett, who added a second following a superb cross from Rob Barnett some 15 minutes later.

Keyz looked in control until four minutes from the break when a clearance rebounded leaving an easy goal for the visitors.

Pillar started the second half on the attack but Wilson and Paul Phillips at the back were solid, and 15 minutes into the half Halford's free kick was bravely headed in by Lee Phillips, 3-1.

The away side now lost control facing defeat and although they pulled one back were lucky to finish with 11 men!

R Barnett and Mitchell had to go off injured, on came Ching and Webster with Lowen moving up front. Arnold and Phillips urged RM on and Lowen chased Soley's flick and thundered in a 35 yarder for the fourth. RM keeper Hitching then made a fine save before Lowen broke away for the fifth.

Thanks to Anne and Reg for their continued support.
