A BLANKET policy that would see all of Upton's festivals insured together is being looked into by the Tourism and Trade Association.
Chairman Bill Dovey told the executive committee at its meeting on Monday night (November 4) that the association's events committee, which organises the town's water festival, is discussing the possibility with Upton Town Council.
However, Sue Walker, who served on the events committee for 12 years, said she thought it would prove more expensive because so many different types of risk were involved in each event.
